Questions we are asked

Straight answers. Before you ask.

Which system should a private residence choose?

The Dayon RedWave at €25,000 is the horizontal pod designed for private, daily use. The KBL R11 at €79,800 is the dedicated red and near-infrared format for a serious home or facility installation. The K11 Air Select at €115,000 adds UV tanning to the same architecture.

What wavelengths do these systems emit?

The R11 carries 2,848 LEDs at 635/660 nm for red and 1,188 LEDs at 850/880 nm for near-infrared. The K11 Air Select uses 635 + 660 nm red and 850 + 880 nm near-infrared, alongside six UV programmes. The live site also lists the K11 red wavelengths as 633 + 660 nm — that figure is confirmed in your quotation.

Red light or near-infrared?

Red light is absorbed close to the surface; near-infrared penetrates further. Both the K11 and the R11 run them together, which is why they are specified as one system rather than two.

How much space does one need?

The K11 and R11 measure 2,300 × 1,447 × 1,940 mm closed. The Dayon RedWave is a horizontal pod; its published footprint comes with the quotation.

Is UV tanning included?

Only on the K11 Air Select, which has six UV programmes with SunSense. The R11 and the Dayon RedWave have no UV at all.
