How cold do the chambers get?
From −85 °C to −125 °C, depending on the model. The cryo:one and cryo:one+ reach −90 °C, the 2cool −110 °C and the cryoair multi −125 °C.
Electric or nitrogen?
Electric. Mecotec builds 100% electric, TÜV-certified chambers in Germany — no liquid nitrogen to store, handle or refill.
How is this different from an ice bath?
A session is two to three minutes instead of ten to twenty, the air is dry so you step out dry, and the temperature is far lower than any cold plunge can reach.
Which model for a private residence?
The cryo:one+ is the one most often specified for private homes. The 2cool takes two people at once; the cryoair multi is built for facilities running 30+ users an hour.
What does a chamber cost?
Prices are quoted per configuration and installation. Send the room and the intended use and you will have the figure in writing within 24 hours.
